Fox Run Farm Events will offer these fun themed mini challenges throughout the year in addition to our Hooves and Heels Challenge. We present to you….The Turkey Trot Challenge!
This challenge is all about working on trotting with your horse!
Did you want to join our SOLD OUT signature Hooves and Heels Challenge but didn’t sign up in time? Are you a current participant who finished the challenge early and wants to do something fun before the next one? Curious to see how our challenges work? This challenge is for you!
How it Works
Riders log 10 activities with your horse, email the list to us when you are finished, and receive your beautiful ribbon! Activities can be anything from riding, driving, to ground work..as long as it is something you are doing with your horse.
Here’s where it gets fun! For the Turkey Trot mini challenge, 5 of the 10 activities should involve trotting work (in-hand or under saddle) This challenge is all about having fun, bonding with your horse, and learning something new along the way! Please note: There is NO OFFICIAL DUE DATE for this challenge. It is GO AT YOUR OWN PACE! When you finish it, send it in and we will mail your ribbon!
Once you complete your 10 activities email your completed log sheet to visitfoxrunfarm@gmail.com and we will mail your 18″ rosette ribbon. It usually takes around 1.5-2 months to complete the mini challenge.
Cost to enter is $32 and includes ribbon and shipping!
Everyone who is signed up is included in a drawing for some great giveaways! We will do the drawing once we sell out!

This challenge is open to anyone around the country.
Exhibitors participate at their own risk, understanding the potential risks associated with all animals and equine activities. By entering, each participant who engages in an animal/equine activity expressly assumes the risks of engaging in and legal responsibility for injury, loss, or damage to person(s) or property resulting from the risk of animal/equine activities. Under Georgia Law, an equine activity sponsor or professional is not liable for an injury or the death of a participant in an equine activity resulting from the inherent risk of equine activities pursuant to CHAPTER 12 or TITLE 4 of the OFFICIAL CODE GA ANNOTATED. By entering exhibitors agree to release and hold harmless Fox Run Farm, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability(ies). If participant is a minor, PARENT or GAURDIAN excecutes this agreement on behalf of himself/herself as well as the minor child or legal ward.
Fox Run Farm reserves the right to refuse any entry without explanation.
Refund Policy- No refunds are allowed.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ENTER CORRECT ADDRESS. WE ARE NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR TYPOS AND WE SEND RIBBONS TO EXACT ADDRESS YOU PROVIDE. If your ribbon is sent to the wrong address because of a typo, you will be responsible to buy another ribbon at cost (if another one is available) and shipping for that ribbon. If an extra ribbon for that challenge isn’t available, we will ship you a ribbon from a previous challenge at no cost for ribbon, but you pay shipping.
Damaged Ribbon: If a ribbon arrives to you damaged, take a photo of your ribbon and the envelope with the address and return addresss. Send the photos to us and we will file a claim with the PO and send you a replacement ribbon.
Ribbons will be held for 6 months. After that, they will be repurposed. No refunds.
Any photograph of the participant via social media posts may be used for legitimate promotional purposes for the Hooves and Heels challenge including via social media and websites.
